This week, I liked a post at Today’s General Counsel about preparing clients for upcoming copyright litigation over AI. I thought it was good advice for anyone to look at their copyright holdings and try to assess how vulnerable these assets are. Speaking of copyright, I liked Mike Masnick’s post about forgotten books. I also liked a post at CircleID by Ian Andrew Barber on the EU’s Draft Framework Convention on artificial intelligence, human rights, democracy and the rule of law, which complements the EU AI Act. Finally, while there are lots of legit “Copyright Trolls”, this scam is pretending to be a group of lawyers but here instead of payment they want backlinks for SEO purposes.
