This week, a cautionary tale on the “Internet of Things” and making sure connected devices are updated – millions of smart toothbrushes were hacked and used in a DDos attack. CORRECTION – Bruce Schneier reports that the article was incorrect, resulting from a mistranslation of the original German. The article was supposed to be a hypothetical, not an actual event.
GeekPress linked to a Forbes article on how the small Caribbean island of Anguilla is now profiting off selling .AI domain names. As that article is behind a paywall, I included an older article on the same topic. Finally, Professor Guadamuz had a nice article on a recent NFT decision in Barcelona which was well reasoned.
