This week, Meta claimed (in a filing to support its motion to dismiss the copyright claims over using the torrented files to train their AI) that its not copyright infringement if the torrented files are not further seeded. Good luck with that claim, Meta. There has also been more discussion of whether the new DOGE department is violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Finally, I see that Professor Grimmelmann has a new essay online, “Listener’s Choices Online.” It’s about regulatory regimes online.
