The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced proposed rules to rein in data brokers, but those rules are likely to be amended by the next administration. Finally, I liked the post by Steve Crocker that highlights the career of Elizabeth “Jake” Feinler, whose idea it was for the WHOIS system.
